Corpus Christi procession

The Day of the Cross is dedicated to the Great Bouh Cross, by which the parish church is well known. The procession centers around the replica of the famous cross, which carried by men from the parish church in the upper village, to the harbor in the lower village. After the blessing of the fishing nets, boats and yachts, the procession travels back to the church in the upper village.

The process is very solemn and is held a week before the emigrant’s day.
